Hologram tastes the sweet delights of new town centre venture Revelicious
The Revel Bakery, based at Malt Kiln Farm, Stretton-under-Fosse, has been crafting award-winning loaves and pastries for some time. Headed by master baker Maurice Hartnett, their artisan breads are crafted on site in a purpose-built bakery. The Revel Bakeries’ success is well established, and now they are heading into the town centre with the opening of a new patisserie – Revelicious.
Revelicious is the sweet and chocolatey sister of The Revel Bakery. They will supply the town with cream-filled choux swans, lemon meringues, macaroons, cakes, tarts and many other heavenly treats.
Revelicious is headed by a talented pattisier who wants to be known simply as ‘Lac’. It was Lac’s dream to create a business here in Rugby, serving the community with a different kind of fare, something a little different for the town – hand-crafted pastries, desserts, macaroons and delicate sweet creations.
On the launch night of Revelicious we tasted a few of these amazing desserts, and caught up with their creator, Lac. Here are a few shots from the night. We hope to follow up this article with a guide to the offerings at Revlicious, as well as an insight into how they were created.
Revelicious officially opens on Saturday 20th February.
