Spring in Rugby sprung to life with the annual Rotary Clubs of Rugby’s Spring Fair

Acrobats on horses, dog displays and a fun fair were some of the highlights of the day at the annual Spring Fair in Whitehall Recreation Ground. Families arrived en-masse early to make the most of the unfavourable weather forecast, but even though the rain arrived later, the annual show was far from washed out. Rugby’s Mayor Cllr Richard Dodd opened the event, and the main ring was then transformed into a circus show with acrobatics on horseback, and equine dance routines.
Many Rugby-based charities were on hand to raise money with fun activities, tombolas, and sales. The £3 admission fee will be donated to many worthy causes which the Rotary Club support. This years event was supported by Melbros and Vauxhall.
