Family Panto at the Benn Hall: Aladdin will take you on a magic carpet ride
The Benn Hall, Rugby, 29th and 30th December 2016
People of Rugby – hold onto your seatbelts as the Benn Hall panto takes you on a magic carpet ride you won’t forget!
This year’s pantomime at the Benn Hall is ‘Aladdin’, produced by Five Star Theatre, who were invited to produce the panto for the venue because of the success of their recent musicals, including ‘Annie’ and ‘Guys and Dolls’.
It’s the well-known story of a young boy with hopes of marrying a princess and his outrageous mother who dreams of a more glamorous future than running a Chinese laundry. Throw-in a couple of policemen who haven’t got half a brain between them, a loveable laundry boy, Wishee-Washee, and his pet panda, and some magical genies…you’ve got a panto adventure filled with colourful characters and, of course, the evil wizard Abanazar, who awaits your boos and hisses!
‘Aladdin’ is packed with visual spectacle, which includes a UV magic carpet flight and an 18-metre Chinese dragon. There’s a range of well-known songs and plenty of laughs for both the children and the adults.
You can see ‘Aladdin’ on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th December at 7pm. There is also a special 2pm performance on Friday 30th December.
Tickets are just £8.95 and £10.95, and they are available from the Benn Hall Box Office by calling 01788 533719, or online at bennhall.com. Alternatively, go to th e Benn Hall in person and save the booking fee!
