11 indie businesses in Rugby and its surrounding villages were winners across 27 categories in the very first Muddy Stilettos Awards 2017 in Warwickshire, designed to support, encourage and celebrate the very best lifestyle businesses.

On top of the rolling hills of Warwickshire winners from across the county gathered for the inaugural awards at Hill Top Farm, Hunningham. Among them were businesses from Rugby, and here are the winners:

They were Jaide’s Stage Studios, Rugby (Best Children’s Business), Etcetera (Best Gift Shop), Albert’s Menswear (Best Men’s Store), Café Vin Cinq (Best Restaurant), Rugby Theatre (Best Theatre), Terracotta Boutique (Best Women’s Store) and Springfield Kitchen, Bilton, (Best Local Producer -food & drink).

Here are the winners from surrounding villages: The Old Lion, Harborough Magna (Best Destination Pub), Pumpkins Deli, Brinklow, (Best Farmshop/Deli), Stemsations, Frankton, (Best Florist)) and Hilltop Hideaways, Hunningham (Best Glamping).
